Vee is a senior policy analyst at Upturn. Their research and policy interests include the use of data, technology, and surveillance within “child welfare” and criminal legal systems. Vee’s work is rooted in a Black feminist abolitionist praxis and is primarily done in partnership with organizers and community based organizations. Vee recently received their Ph.D and has a MSW and B.A. in Psychology.
