Driven by questions more than answers. Zero genre loyalty.

Tiffany Wong is a Research Associate at Upturn, where her work focuses on labor and employment. A self-described Luddite, she is interested in technology as infrastructure that mediates power in ways that entrench and exacerbate inequalities, and explores how that power might be reimagined for collective benefit. Prior to Upturn, she worked on First and Fourth Amendment issues related to surveillance and free speech. She is passionate about political theory and thinking about the conditions necessary for a democratic society.

Tiffany has a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A. in Law, Jurisprudence and Social Thought from Amherst College. In her free time, she seeks out immersive art experiences, used bookstores, and meandering conversation.
