Before Upturn, Mingwei was the V.P. of Enterprise Data and Analytics for Special Olympics, where he founded the data team and crafted the data strategy for the organization. Prior to Special Olympics, Mingwei was a data scientist at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where he worked on a wide portfolio of projects, ranging from data analysis on enforcement cases to developing search tools for analysts at the agency.
Mingwei has a B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
